In my experience it did work, the issue is that the animation, the counterattack and adding the buff didn't. Nothing was executed but the ally was immortal

If u noticed, narmer was not killed instantly that was because of ollie however, since ollie was disabled, he wasn't able to give the invin + recovery buff. That's what I noticed abt how his passive works if he is immobilized.

Gonna go on a limb here to assume ollie first. Technically your target ally doesn't die with ollie passive (endures the hit) so that takes priority to dying (affects soul guard). Still, gonna test it if I can

I would like to see a full defense team if possible with: Donar as team captain and for damage Laura for shield Berenice for a stronger shield Ren Si as another tank dps Celine for defense, cleanse, and speed up buff.

Could you test immobilised(stun, petrification, etc), silence, taunt; also, what is the priority order on what unit it saves if multiple units(other than himself,) are killed while passive is up please? Cheers in advance

As far as I can tell, from my time having Ollie on my team, his passive doesn’t trigger when he dies. It only works for other ally units that aren’t himself. I could be wrong but that’s what appears to be the case

When Ollie is stunned he can save the ally, but nether him or the target get buff, so one more hit and the ally go down :) I use him from day 1 of release xD so i know how he work

does the position of ollie in the team determine the revive order, for example if ollie is in lead and you 1 shot him and another Esper does no revive happen as he was first and died first. apposed to if hes at the back of the order when you 1 shot them

Standoff prevents the unit from dying so it shouldn't proc on ren si passive

The opening statement is a huge mistake: Ollie DOES NOT revive an ally, he prevents them from dying, this comes with two important implications: 1: They do not lose current ongoing buffs that death would otherwise cancel: death cancels ALL on-going buffs a unit has, however you can see Hyde keeping his permanent stacks after Ollie saves him. You might be thinking: "but those stacks are also kept by Hyde's passive!", but that's because contrary to popular misconception, Hyde's passive IS NOT A REVIVE either. 2: Taylor will not stop Ollie from saving someone (but will still get a free turn). I appreciate that you want to spread information, but please spread it right.

I am preatty sure ollie Doesn't revive, he prevents espers from diyng. That's why they still stay stunned if they got stunned. While a revived Char wouldn't. To be exact. A revived on starts from 0, 0 AP 0 Buffs. 0 everything. So no, he doesn't revive.
