The server gets spammed with useless info so finding the ip is hard especially since they usually use a different computer and internet to send that data which causes the server to lag and crash if done with enough spam

@@kylebrainpresents he's limiting the IP's he can connect to the blizzard server pings other IP"s when matchmaking if it sends back that he's trying to connect to the same server as an IP that isnt white listed he simply wont connect its the same method as keeping your team from lagging during standby using cain and abel or more aptly how circle boosting has worked historically to ensure you match the same groups of people over and over. nowadays people use shit like wireshark to sniff traffic and and do it rather than cain and abel if you're interested in some networking tools to play around with they are a lot more useful than for cheating in a game

Rather, it's a lose-lose scenario. If you feed them attention you will be circling down the drain with their ego yes, but if the situation at hand is not being called out and resolved, it will continue to happen (and it continues to happen, as time goes on). Logging off might be the best scenario sure, as companies "might" take action when their little toy is at peril of being shafted, but considering how the multiplayer landscape is being infested by a cheating problem, this might as well be an uphill, losing battle for every platform.
