Also we need to consider Sanders’s record did not include his 200 yard 4 TD bowl game. It is silly that they don’t just add those yards on to make it a legit record. I am a boise native, love my broncos, Jeanty is from another world, but fair is fair. If we get to include bowl games and playoff runs potentially, so should Sanders.

🤔….honestly, Boise State is a remarkable story. Just a Jr. College not so many years ago. And during the Chris Peterson years Boise State was incredible. It seems to me that every time this program claws its way to the top so many people don’t take them seriously. 3 Fiesta Bowls….and now with a new coaching staff they are back. Doubt them again at your own peril.

It would be a video of Travis Hunter standing on the sidelines at BSU because they definitely do not need him at all on defense and I'd rather keep all of our current WR's because we have some great ones who are just waiting on a QB with exceptional ball placement skills to put them to good use! Malachi Nelson is rumored to be 'that guy' but Maddux knows the Bronco playbook inside-and-out and he has improved significantly!

Many people are saying that Boise State does not deserve to be where they are in the rankings. Boise State did not make the rankings nor did they make the system that put them where they are. Like many other teams, they played each week and won their games. BYU suffered great criticism back when they were named National Champions. They won all their games and everyone else lost at least one game. They made sure that that would never happen again -- giving a team like BYU the national championship trophy.

I live in Idaho and the Boise broncos have always been my team. In the last 40yrs. I've seen them grow from a junior college team to a national team! One of the main reasons the cfb even has a playoff today is because of Boise. In 2008 they threw Boise a bone (because people thought they should have been in the national championship that year) by putting them in the Fiesta Bowl with the Oklahoma Sooners. Everyone said there was NO way Boise could beat them but they did and some say it was the best cfb game ever played! I hope Oregon makes it to the championship game because Boise will make them pay for their only loss of the season. BTW, Jeanty didn't completely change this team on his own! They have been building this team for decades and and it's always been a team effort. That said I love your channel and will be watching it thru the playoffs.

Great video but at 2:50 you said that Jeanty was widely seen as a Heisman candidate before the season, but he wasn't even in the top 20 Heisman odds. Malachi Nelson actually had better odds than him at the start of the season. Just goes to show how Jeanty has defied the odds and how good he really is.

Yes, Jeanty is a great player. Did he carry the rest of the team on his back? No. Jeanty has really good team mates that let him shine, but he could not have done it by himself. Boise's defense has been the reason Boise has done as well as they have done. Boise has not had the high scores like they did under Kellen Moore so the offence is good, but not great. The wins are due to the defense shutting down the competition.

Sounds like you are describing a good TEAM. Where one compliments the other. Team wins. A one man show never works in a TEAM sport. It takes a team to win. Just ask Barry Sanders and the Detroit Lions. Barry was legit. The team, not so much. So they lost. BSU wins because of the team. Which includes a great RB.
