How OPTIMUS PRIME made MEGATRON leave CYBERTRON (Transformers One)

I love how the film shows the fundamental difference between D and Orion. D declares himself Megatron, Orion is dubbed Optimus Prime. One title comes from ego, the other comes from ethics.

Let me offer you a different perspective. It is strange to hear other Bots with Names while bots like D-16 and B-127 are numerical and notice their stations Miner and Sanitation. Orion had his name, Elita, Jazz they had non numerical names. D-16 has always followed protocol, rules and law even though oppressive. I think that D16 and B127 are names assigned to lower class bots, even lower than Orion Orion was Assigned the Name and Title of Optimus Prime B127 chose Bee. And then D16 Chose Megatron. I think it wasn't simply Ego that drove D16 decision to change his name but for once He CHOSE for himself and he chose to name himself after Megatronus Prime. It's not about Ego that Megatron chose the name of a Prime. Because he Idolized and Revered Megatronus to that degree.

@ I was speaking more in the context of the movie, not other transformers media like the IDW comics. B is named B because he named himself after the car when they got to Earth.

Okay, but Sentinel wasn't marched through the mines in chains to suffer first. He was just killed. So much Quintesson intel wasted. D-16 crashed out at the wrong time. it's quite symbolic how Orion/Optimus took time to get a weapon of his own. B-127 got his from being a bit psychotic, D-16 got it from hatred, Elita and Optimus had to rely on weapons around them until Optimus got the Matrix that offered him his own axe

Fr cant wait if we get a sequel 2 see how theyll adapt the decepticon conquest of polyhex (or tetrahex dont remember im a noob in tf lore lol) and even maybe some peek at the creation of the grindcore prison complex(idc it was edgy and kinda cringe i love the death camps and massacres and the inquisitorial torture it was absolutely an hit in my book when it comes 2 weird comics stuff lol) also if they show one scene LITERALLY 3 seconds of decepticon pirates sailing and arriving in Darkmount looting the place i will finally die happy i need more canonical transformers pirates in my life-

@@marinanieto7670 I want to see Megatron fighting in the gladiatorial pits of Darkmount against opponents like Lugnut, Snapdragon, and Apeface, defeating them in battle and adding them to his Decepticon ranks, all while Straxus watches the battles happening from his tower. All of this would be happening while Optimus Prime and the Autobots would be fighting against the Quintessons. LET THEM COOK FOR THIS SEQUEL.

Megatron and the Cons will probably create Kaon in the second movie. Both side create a truce to beat the quintessons and are in an uneasy alliance. 3rd movie sees other cities, like Tarn (wink wink), which choose sides after the cybertronian civil war truly begins.

Not even gonna cap I understand D-16 crashout and his turn into Megatron cause at the end of the day on the road to discover the truth he discovers that a prime betrayed his brothers especially D's own Idol Megatronus he find out him his friend Orion along with the other cybertronian Energon mine workers are without cogs because of said traitor Sentinel he already boiling nearly erupting to hit the nail on the coffin is giving this man a cog and him finding out his capabilities become more and more like the Megatron we all know especially how he starting to cultivate the deceptcons via defeating starscream becoming the leader of the Cybertron seekers faction and the final nail is when his own best friend takes a hit for the same snake Sentinel in D-16 eyes is a personal betrayal a cemented that he is Megatron just as Optimus is restored and grant the title of Optimus Prime
