Why Dunki failed to impress the audience is because director Rajkumar Hirani did not collaborate with vidu Vinod Chopra those you don't know what I am telling just Google it all movies of Rajkumar Irani which are hit full memorable because of collaboration with Vinod Chopra

One more reason is that the story of Dunki was outdated. The script of Dunki was mainly made for Munna Bhai 3 or Munna Bhai America, which was declared before 2010, but that didn't come on floors, and instead that script was used in Dunki.

Dunki was average but not agree with your opinion bcz if that srk' character was played by vicky, then it would be overacted as generally public hvnt seen vicky that much in this kind of character, opp. We hv seen srk in chennai, om shanti, and many other movies with his humorous acting types and all, and at end hirani is far better experienced in his field and we all know that without identifying the potential of actor to be played role in his film, he never works further😊❤

Dunki didnt had any pre release hype and also the film was a big disappointment..i m wondering how it made money coz even the trailer was beyond tolerable..Tapsee ko lekar bada blunder kar dia..and SRK had already given two hits last year so people were less excited to see him more..and isme Vidhu chopra ki collab ki koi connection hi ni tha..coz d film itself was a big disaster as per me..i just watched d first half and cud not bear more of it ...ekdum bakwas film thi.. Hindustani 2 ki jab trailer dekhi tabhi pata chal gya tha ki ye kis ghatiya level ki film hogi..Raju Hirani took audience for granted , same goes for Adipurush and hindustani 2 makers and others..Even Stree 2 was so bad k i m still in trauma how it became a Blockbuster..Stree 1 was too good and i had monumental expectations..but turned out to b a major crap..
