this is the 3rd time i heard their story- esp gian's and i still get emotional everytime..kasi grabeh talaga si God when He transforms His children. i got to meet Gian sa conference in ccf 2023 and first time i heard his testimony. you could really tell from his eyes and feel in his spirit that transforming power of God in his life. their love story is a picture of God's unconditional love for His bride, the church. as a public servant now, i pray he will continue to make a difference in his city and be a catalyst for change just like what Mayor Vico, his cousin is doing in Pasig. and most importantly may these two lovely couple continue to bring their children in the admonition and fear of the Lord. a strong marriage makes a strong family. strong families make strong communities. strong communities make a strong nation. that's what our nation needs now. Such an inspiring story. I have experienced challenges in my life, too. The 'enemy' wanted me to abandon God, but the enemy failed. In 2022, last week month of June, my grandma died. After a week (July), my younger sister gave birth to a girl. The baby died after one day. Sobrang hirap...sunod sunod. After two weeks, my sister died because of kidney failure without knowing that her baby died a day after she gave birth. I didn't cry at all, pretending that I was strong. The most beautiful thing? I was praying with a smile saying "Lord, the enemy will never succeed. Just like Job, patuloy ka naming pupurihin. If these challenges will reveal your glory, tinatanggap ko. Sorry for thinking that I am strong. I need you Lord." And God has rescued us. Iba kumilos ang Dios. Sa kabila ng pain, patuloy kaming magpupuri sa Panginoon at hindi magtatagumpay ang kaaway.
