They rescued her and raised her..., Venya (Venzo) has helped a lot but the most important part is that her parents (you, guys, and basically, her rescuers) saved her and made her to feel safe and loved. I've seen this with tigers as well. Big cats who are raised from birth being hand-fed by humans always seem to prefer having humans feed them rather than eating from bowls by themselves. I don't know if its due to imprinting, or just cat-laziness. 😂

While raising a wilderness creature may pose a few challenges, I think most would agree Luna has brought a unique and enriching relationship between you and Vovo, her humans, and herself. There are likely wildlife biologists and veterinarians who would give just about anything to study her for a few weeks. She is one of the most beautiful and powerful animals I've ever seen or had contact with...with one exception. My nose to nose encounter with a beautiful yearling bison...while on photo assignment for the USGS...but then that's a story for another day. I love hearing Luna's deep purr!!!!

Удивительно, как Вика смогла котёночка выходить! У Вас нет животных дома? Вы не знаете, что когда заводишь котёнка или щенка, даже попугайчика, то привязываешься к нему, как к родному!!! Луняша стала членом семьи! 😍

Yo tuve dos gatas, la primera era horrible cuando entraba en celo: maullaba y gemia por toda la casa y se ponía especialmente cariñosa con los hombres adultos de la casa (mi hermano y mi sobrino). Después de tres celos pudo ser esterilizada y al fin pudo estar más tranquila. Con la segunda solo dejé que alcanzara su maximo desarrollo antes del primer celo, el cual nunca experimento pues fue esterilizada antes que ocurriera, además de ella tenia un gato macho al que también mandé a esterilizar a la par. Es preferible esterilizarlos antes que comiencen a reproducirse y después uno no sabe qué hacer con tanto cachorro.

It depends on the cat. I have 2 females and one can get vocal but its not a regular occurrence. The second one just throws her butt in the air and doesn't make but a low chirping sound. I have heard ones so loud, they sound like babies. Luckily mine aren't like that. Lol

In my opinion, tamed big cats are probably as likely to turn on you as your average housecat provided you treat them correctly. The problem is there's a big difference in what a 70-80 lb leopard can do in terms of damage compared to a 5-10 lb housecat. At this point your chances of subduing it as an adult male are 50-50 at best. I won't even discuss what could happen with a 400 lb lion or 500 lb tiger.

Очень интересно и познавательно. Никогда не думал, что большие кошки могут быть такими адекватными в период эструса. Исходил из опыта, что сервалы и бенгальские очень нервные бывают.Думал, что относительно "дикие" все такие. А ещё я не знал что под мехом она леопард с пятнышками, это открытие для меня, внезапно!!! It's not under her fur. Her fur is spotted. The background base color is just similar to the shade of her spots. It's just like being a blonde or brunette or having freckles on a yellow or brown skin. Black panther is just a nickname. They are either leopards or jaguars in the same litter they can be light or dark color.

There is a reason for life expectancy in captivity being longer than in the wild for nearly every land mammal. For birds and reptiles too.

It's a really good tactic! I even did that for both of my dogs when they were puppies. They were both naturally protective of their food when they were little, and now they don't care at all what a human does with their food. 😊

Хозяина в такие моменты особенно любит. Помню, кошка во время гона за мужем по пятам ходила, стелилась перед ним, страдала, давалась на ручки, гладиться, вычесываться, любила его жутко. Как только проходил гон, все, нафиг не нужен становился, игнор, независимость и уже внимание больше на меня, как на подружку.

Ерунда. Как любила кошка меня с гоном и без гона. Она меня воспринимала за кота ( большого). Ложилась пузом у меня на коленке и задирала хвост с выгибом спины. Даже звала принимать роды😂.

Моя бурмяха когда гуляла, это было ужасно, она так мучилась, мяукала, худела. Мы её простерилизовали. Теперь весёлая стала и мы спокойны. А тут такая кошечка большая, дай бог вам терпения добрые люди!

I live very far , Buenos Aires, Argentina. Each day try to see all about her. Is a very wonderful panther and i enjoy very much to know have a lovely family with her. I have seven cats at home , three of my cats are common black Bombay cats and if is strange to think , they have many actitudes similar of Luna . @@beckyd6080 They are planning to have her sterilized but she was too young at the time of this filming to do it and you cannot sterilize a cat during their cycle because you could possibly miss tissue. I had a domestic cat that was neutered during her cycle and she continued to have a cycle even though she could never reproduce she was miserable and there was nothing that the vet could do about it after the initial sterilization. Don’t presume that these people do not understand what Luna is going through, they do, & are keeping her and other animals safe during this time. All the while trying to educate other people on owning a large cat such as this which in some countries is illegal like in the United States and in other countries is not illegal.

Luna gets grumpy, restless, growls at everybody and is emotional. She also wants her favourite foods, comfort foods. She is no different to a human female going through the same thing. 🥹🥹🥹 poor baby
