PTSD is very real phenomenon after being subject to abuse and neglect by Centrelink mutual obligations and Job agencies only too keen to penalize people. Apart from the financial conflict of interestSome Job agencies have a conflict of interest such as the Salvation Army which is meant to help the homeless not cause homelessness by suspending Job seeker. The constant harassment by job agencies is detrimental to health. Failure of our government to recognize this and do something about it is of great concern for the present and future generations. We need a government that supports vulnerable people not one that is in denial of the reality. Thank you for shining a light on what is really happening. It's only when not if this unfair system will be fixed.

yup, they always make threats and non negotiable demands as their first move. Like, why cant they work with us in a pleasant way like were on the same side. Instead they immediately go to threatening us and bullying us.

I just ceased working for APM as a employment consultant and i cant tell you all its a rort. This video is true and just the tip of how bad they really are. The truth would shock anyone. The industry needs to go back to the government.

I once applied for a job at Max Employment. The guy who interviewed me was rude and condescending toward me. He also decided to use the interview as forum to tell me how a client of their service had insulted him. Ironic that they were paying this guy to "help" the unemployed.

Twice Max employment when I've found myself a job have tried to get me to sign some rubbish declaring they found me work so they can get a kick back, they ask "when do you start" "can you come in & sign paper work saying you no longer need them" the 1st time I went its 3 bits of paper they weren't keen on me reading "just sign it" so I read it was for me to say Max found me a job! I just walked out & told them they are dodgy as I got it myself the 2nd time just hang up the phone lol..

I was unemployed while Little Johnny was in after he set this system up. I had to jump through all the hoops etc, but as I was getting about 3-4 hours a fortnight through friends, I didn't ever get any funds ( the dole ). I finally got full time work ( no thanks to the "work agencies" ), but still had to bring in the paperwork every fortnight. As the CES office only opened at limited times ( that is after everyone else was at work, lunch break, shut before others finish ) I couldn't get there for a week. I got a lovely letter telling me I wasn't fulfilling my obligations so I wouldn't get any payment... The next time I was out of work, end of Tony's/start of Malcolm's time, there were so many hoops I couldn't even register.

Makes sense as that's where the revenue comes from. There is a huge difference between donations to party, still not acceptable and getting a net worth over 200 million directly from unemployment service contracts from the same government you went on to lead. Remember if elected as PM she was going to walk away because it was unconscionable? She never did though. Just kept raking in our cash.

I went to completed school, university and tafe. I've unintentionally failed as a student trying to find work. Because I'm overqualified and inexperienced. I need either one but not both to actually get work. I'm already living in poverty and now I 'm being forced into community service because Centrelink believes I should of found work by now. But employers want people with a minimum of 2 years experience for a graduate/entry level role. Life is not worth living.

Thank you for this. I'm retired now, but the troubles I had with these people nearly drove me mad. They have no Idea of what they are doing and they get paid very little. There is a high rate of people leaving or being sacked for either being fair with the client or questioning things like bullying. Anyway, how in the world can a little company from Perth (Porter's area) suddenly branch out around Australia and open an Office in London (APM)? Something is wrong here.

Because these people are not getting to the root of problem, the problem is Socialism, that's why when Socialism began to get a foot hole in Australia in the early 1970's, its been a slow economic downhill ever since then. Money was removed from the currency supply, they began printing more paper currency to make up for any type of economic downturn, inflation began to rise and they been spreading the fraud around, while the nation seeks deeper into debt, which creates more taxation, which make things unaffordable including housing. Great video. My only comment is though, while it's totally fair to criticise the LNP for this mismanagement of public monies, it is not fair to exculpate the ALP from blame as you seem to be doing. Albo and the other ALP members have sat silently while this has become progressively worse. If they took a leaf out of Tony Abbott's book and got on the front foot and attacked what is a glaring problem which the LNP is refusing to address, the ALP would gain more popular support; but they don't. So, through their negligence in this regard, the ALP can only be considered as being complicit in the problem which exists. Their silence allows the issue not to be addressed, not to be raised for discussion in the media, and not to be resolved favorably for the Australian Public who ultimately funds these outsourced agencies who are taking public money but delivering very little in return. The solution lies in returning the responsibility for employment services to govt; to take it away from the private agencies who are only interested in corporate wealth through growth of their industry via more unemployment and the 'parking' of clients as you illustrated well. Thanks for the video but next time be more balanced and mention the negligence of Albo and the ALP in all of this too. Thanks.

The only time the job place ever found me a job a large cohort including myself got ripped off by the employer with no pay let go no notice. otherwise they have done nothing.. the computers they have in the majority of them are hard rubbish ones or worse.

I gave up my NDIS funding package because of the bad experience with open employment. I was parked by WISE Employment on 30th January, 2014. I only have a mild disability. I see my job consultant on the train. He does not speak to me. I did unnecessary job training in 2013, under coercion from WISE Employment. The training was provided by BAWM, which was deregistered in early 2016 after having received too many complaints. The training was not targeted to my needs. I could not attend Mary MacKillop’s canonisation in Rome in 2010 because of open employment.

All they need to do is allow unemployed to earn up to the minimum wage. Then they can afford to live and all those part time jobs will be filled. No reason to import labour the money circulates in our economy and stays in the country. Also open up industry like cars Australian owed and profit share for unemployed. Then gradually get them off the unemployment benefits as profits pay for their benefits. Allow them to earn without penalty up to minimum wage. Invest in business and people.
