I've been doing the course you're talking about for about a year. It's NO JOKE , these guys are really good. But here's trhe real real... publishing worthwhile books that might become profitable takes W.O.R.K and or money, and a load of time and even more dedication. If you follow the course they provide, you might get somewhere. Most people don't stick to it, like anything though right? But , you can make it work, it's just not easy or quick, usually. There definitely are people who have done this course and done well for themselves. There's always room for more good information out there. I love your channel Kat, you're awesome to watch and I admire you all the way! For someone who's seriously interested in publishing, I think trhis course can be something worthwhile. Mainly, it's not as easy or as fast as seems from watching their intro videos, not at all. If you're interested and preparred to work, you might reeally like it and it might help you get what you want.

Is it bad if I've been writing my book for like 3 years? 😂 Seriously though writing a book has been on my to-do list for a while. These were some helpful tips for how to get that ball rolling. I would do the audible myself though. I personally enjoy the audibles where the author reads it over the others. Hearing it from the authors voice just hits different.

I totally agree about listening to the aurthors, that makes a huge fifference to me as well. I am a writer and so many first books take many years to write. Maybe that makes it great..The slow cook, full of flavor kind of thing, who knows. Just keep at it, one day you'll have a book !

I’m not on audible, I just bought a course and learned how to do it then shared it with you all so you have another way people are making a side income. I have written a children’s book so I’ll have to look into getting it narrated and putting it on audible.

Depends on the subject but writing a book does take time so it wouldn’t surprise me if you needed 1000s but there are also podcasts if you like presenting information. My friend has one and they are only about 5 minutes long each.

@@KatTheo I have two books on there. The process was intriguing. The narrators audition for you and if it is multiple narrators, you chose which one you like. This is based on the clip that they send you. Since I did not have the equipment to narrate my own publications, I had narrators do it. The royalties are split in half when an audiobook is purchased.

@@juliehorton4341 Hi Julie. there's a lot more to the course, I've been doing it for a year. It is not easy and their offerings keep getting more expensive. They are good but a bit of a formula by now... It was a bit better a year ago in my opinion, now they are kind of like an expensive diy publishing house. I still like them and am still writing, publishing and creating my own audiobooks using the things that I have learned from them. They also keep updating their courses to stay relevant and they don't charge more unless you want more personal coaching.
