How Piccolo was Born?

Guru begins to feel Krillin's past just by absorbing Krillin's thoughts. Guru says that it is such a terrible thing that a powerful Namekian tore himself in two. Kami and King Piccolo were originally one being and they separated out of anguish from a grueling internal struggle. Guru says that before Kami could become guardian of the Earth, he had to purge even the smallest trace of evil from his heart. Thus, he split himself in two and King Piccolo was born. In splitting himself, his power was also halved. Guru explains that if they had reunited, they would not have been defeated by any normal Saiyan. Guru tells Krillin that his heart is pure, and his intentions are true, explaining that his bravery and loyalty for his friends are beyond question. He then tells Krillin that he has proven himself worthy to receive the Dragon Ball. Guru reaches for the Dragon Ball and hands it to Krillin, who proceeds to thank him and tells him that it means a lot to him.

His stakes are all life on earth, which was the whole universe in DragonBall, so i call those higher stakes, and unlike frieza who might kill a few planets but avoid useless carnage or buu who'd destroy everything instantly, piccolo wanted to destroy everything just slowly enough to maximize despair. Extinction is good, dying screaming is better, but we really need to obtain maximum suffering and evil if possible. The Demon King.

Then piccolo jr was a bit less frightening but fucking cooler, so worked great as a kind of post-climax cherry on top conclusion. Then Z introduced vegeta, who is great but, 80% just a weak replacement for piccolo. His addition to the story is great but they never should have pushed out piccolo for him. And buu saga vegeta is really weak so they really should have done majin piccolo. The whole buu saga lacks any character arc depth in general though.

piccolo jr and demon king piccolo have the same soul and memories but the reincarnation process and growing from a child again changed something within him making piccolo his own individual self so by the 23rd martial arts tournament piccolo had different mannerisms and thought processes from the original only when interacting with kami and goku set off the evil and sadistic tendencies in his heart, then after five years by himself and finally getting his "vengence" killing goku and interacting with gohan allowing him to let go of his ambitions and sacrifice himself and die is when Demon King piccolo is gone for good.

Not gone for good, because his soul reemerges a number of times throughout the series, recently against Frost in the DBS manga where Piccolo literally refers to himself as demon king Piccolo. That said, this is who Piccolo is: Darth Vader which incorporates both the good and dark side of the force. Just like Anakin, Piccolo is both yin and yang and as of right now, both sides have come full circle and are in a harmonizing balance.

Which is far stronger than Super Saiyan at that point. Just imagine if King Piccolo absorb Kami back in the original DB. Kid Goku is finished,Raditz,Vegeta and Nappa is also finished. This is why so many fans hate the original English dub. Their power wasn’t split equally. Kami was even stronger than Goku after he beat King Piccolo and the power up that Piccolo got after merging w/ Kami was his biggest jump in power level that he had. I love the original dub for nostalgia but looking back on it, it has so many flaws.

This is what I don't get. Kami had a power level around 300-350. King Piccolo had a power lever around 250-300. Say if we gave Guru the benefit of doubt and made both 300. Then fused together Kami/Piccolo would be at 600 pl in theory. But, when Z Piccolo arrives on Namek having a Sayian saga level pl. He fuses with Nail who has a pl rivaling a Ginyu force member. This causes Piccolo to be as strong or a little stronger than second form Frieza who was at 1 million pl. Piccolo then trains for three and a half years then finally fuses with Kami and goes from somewhere around 10-100 million all the way to a billion or so power level. So if Kami fused with King Piccolo or vise versa. Would they be closer to the billions or would the absence of Nail make them much weaker? Besides this. Would a "King Kami Piccolo" Fusion be stronger than dbz Frieza or a super sayian Goku?

I doubt that's true. Goku was a kid when he defeated him that time and that too weaker than saiyans like Vegeta, raditz and Nappa. If his power were just half he doesn't even come closer to even Adult raditz. Even piccolo when he faced raditz 10 times stronger than demon King piccolo and he alone was nothing in front of raditz. So definitely Even if king piccolo didn't divided himself in half he still wouldn't have stand a chance against even raditz or Goku at the beginning of z who was a lot weaker than raditz.

Because their split DIVIDED the original power level by MULTIPLE times, the power of Kami+King Piccolo was not just divided by 2, but by a lot of times (probably thousands of times, so originally the nameless namekian was probably stronger than Frieza or even stronger than a super saiyan)....it's basically the same concept of when a fusion ends...for example when the fusion of Gotenks ends, Goten and Trunks separate in 2 but their power level isn't just halved, it is divided multiple times and so they both become very weak in comparison to Gotenks, SO the same happened to Kami and King Piccolo when they were splint into 2 different beings, their original power level was diveded thousands of times. But even then, at the time they were still both stronger than basically everyone else on Earth, so King Piccolo could still unleash all that death and destruction (and Kami couldn't stop him directly without killing himself), until Goku came and beat him eventually....
