I have worked for TATA Projects....for a good time. The idea is to provide compression in the tensile zone , so the net tension after loading is less due to already present compressive stress in tensile zone. Offcourse tendons are tensioned But in order to provide compression in the tensile zone of concrete after they are released from tension..

You didn't show the drawings specifications, which type of tendon ,strength,different spacing of tendons from the slab, shear reinforcement detail,type of concrete of slab, cube results and important thing is prestress method , final stressing , how much stress on tendons according to cube strength results etc etc.... i m sorry to say that this video is not informative and useful for civil engineering students. this is photography only.
