Good one. Attaining 3kg in 6 weeks for broiler in 6 weeks is a big feat if not impossible. Emphasy again is on market, you must have a ready market or off-taker before doing large number of broilers,else,its a sure way to loss. Again, storing your litters before sales especially during wet season is an issue as waste management is one big problem poultry farmers face Good luck!!

Broiler chickens are bioengineered chicken. They dont lay eggs. They are being slaughtered at 6 weeks as you heard. Plus the males dont mate as much and the females muscles don't allow egg laying. From what i understand. Rememver regular chickens can live for over 7 years.
