i feel like a good test would be to see how much money you can farm (by a certain round) with and without the lab/specialty buildings, if you greed as hard as possible. Like it would be a good way to show how much of a difference the sell price, lives, starting cash and tower buffs make - as basically every lab/building buff would allow you to farm more/earlier due to the less need for defence, more lives to leak, even ablities and big bloon sabotage would make a difference cuz of cash generating abilities, and less need for moab specific defence. I think that would really let you show just how much of a difference it makes. (the other option would be to see how lategame you could go but that would suck to do cuz you could probably go thousands of rounds).

That is a really awesome idea and something I should've done in this video. I need to think of a good way to make that into a video, maybe the title could be something like "Breaking The BTD5 Economy" and I'd test the same thing with and without the lab in that video

(if you wanted you could even compare that to no buffs, but double cash, just to see how OP that is - but thats a lot of work and might not be good for watch retention idk). I don't play btd5, just btd6 but if double cash costed 7500 monkey and it counted as cheating, than heroes that you have to buy using monkey money should also count as cheating, so in my opinion, using double cash is fine

Dc is kinda weird cause it's p2w in any other version. Steam is just kinda p2w itself though arguably, as for the higher cost you get to buy premiums with monkey money, tokens with monkey money, and you get double monkey money from like everything. I wouldn't call p2w cheating anyways, and the differences in steam btd5 make that technically not a problem anyways, but it does go against what most people consider for challenges with games like these, and so is still something that should be mentioned.

double money cheating? Nothing in the game you can get normally is cheating, maybe paying with real cash is salty, but with in game money.. I got double money in the second or third day of playing the game, also you can get a lot of tokens by playing with preferred monkey x4. Yes, I like to be efficient in games, also buying tokens is a big no.

I mean it's the previous game so it's not gonna be as polished for sure. But tbh I don't think people would watch me play BTD6 as much because there are already so many great youtubers who play it. Whereas BTD5 is nostalgic for a lot of us who played it as kids, and it doesn't have many people covering it anymore
