How PPK Works

As Real-Time Kinematic, Post-Processed Kinematic uses observations from two GNSS receivers to achieve cm-level accuracy. The main difference between PPK and RTK is when the positional correcting takes place. In this video, we will take a closer look at what Post-Processed Kinematic is.

Thanks for this video! I'm thinking about purchasing an Emlid Reach RS+ and find these videos very instructional. I am wondering if I would need a base, or could use the recording logs of a local service provider. I have no idea though where to search fr those providers/logs. I live in rural, Central Portugal (Europe). Do you have any tips on how I could find local logs that could function as a base?

When using the cors station under ppk data collection will you need to enter the height of the cors in reachview 3?

Hi Raymond, Your base stations' height is already in the logs from your base. You don't need to enter it manually in ReachView 3: PPK software will handle it automatically. However, don't forget to enter the rover's height in RV3 if you're collecting points manually :)

Thanks but it is the basic information, I need to Know how can I work in this! Emlid Studio have problems with CSV files and I haven't found any information. Really I'm sorry, I need to work with this GNSS, I don't need to spend my time doing a arde investigation.
