how good this track is back to this video to get some help for my build up today, realizing one more time how much this channel helps and how much I like listening to Zen's music. Best mentor of 2023 is Zen World for me again. same as 2022 same as 2021.

13:47 - 14:30 is B I T C H I N B R O. I'm gonna work on something similar with a trance track. I love that technique. DOPE AF. I've been in the rave scene since 96, and I'm telling you thats badass. I keep replaying this so I can assemble something similar in my own tracks. Much love (no homo) lol.

I dont like pre-drops most of the time. For me it kind of kills the vibe if not done exactly right at the perfect time. Especially when it's being overused it's just ugh in my opinion.

Thanks Zen.. super useful this one.. as a DJ, I personally don't really look at pre-drops as a separate factor when choosing the next song to play but mixing out must start at the pre-drop to maintain phrasing so it can get tricky if we're not paying attention.. Luckily most DJ gear allows you to put a colored cue point to remind you where to mix out..
