It would be therefore be fair to assume that it won't just be 50 ATACMS Ukraine will receive, since Biden has decided to send / RUSH as much artillery/ bombs ATACMS he can in the time he has remaining in office

Because they think they're on the winning side when they trade 8 tanks and 2000 men for every metre, while the Ukrainians realise that by falling back and keeping that rate up, russia will run out of raw materials & bodies long before the 100+ years are up for them to reach Kyiv at that speed. russia thinks territory is winning. Ukraine thinks keeping it's people alive is. Two very different end goals, but personally, I'd still bet on the country where on the day the invasion was announced, there were grandmas on the street making molotovs to throw at tanks.

True, but if Putin is prepared to use nukes then he was always prepared to use nukes. We can’t be cowed by that possibility. A lot of nukes would be heading his way within a few seconds. As we have seen recently, the supposed modern Russian weapons systems have failed to materialise in any great numbers which suggests a lot of corruption in the military budget spend, most of his nukes may well be duds, but Americas are all fully ready to fly.

I don't understand why NATO countries continue to allow Russia to export gas and oil through the Black Sea and the Baltic Sea. A ban would cause massive damage to the Russians! Does anyone have an explanation for this?
@Oleg_lvanov3 күн бұрын
And what will the ban be? Probably NATO countries should use their ships or planes, but something tells me that the hypersonic missile "Oreshnik" was shown for a reason. Russia will sink a couple of ships and NATO will have to decide whether to escalate further.

Kursk has been a "morale" booster for the Ukrainian population and the troops. How would history have been changed if the Wehrmacht had been bogged down after 2 years in Poland? What if the Wehrmacht had invaded Poland and not brought enough fuel or food to reach Warsaw? What if the Luftwaffe was not able have air dominance after 2 years in Poland? Why are all of the armchair generals ignoring the incompetence of the invader? This war should have been over in 3 weeks, or 3 months at most. Now north Koreans are supposedly on the battlefield. Will Iranians or Chinese be next? Should the Russians kept nibbling at Ukraine with their "little green" men?

We need to close the loopholes in ruz sanctions and put as muh economic pressure on putin as possible. Private corporations in allied states are evading sanctions and working against the interests of the respective nations. The ruz economy is nearing the edge we should give it a nudge. Another way would be to provide such capabilities that would reach strategic facilities further. Germany must step up or its status decline will be inevitable.
