I think that Rachel Zoe is a hard working business woman who has accomplished a lot. But can she PLEASE stop pretending that she's balancing it all by herself? She has a team of assistants, nannies, cooks, etc. And there's nothing at all wrong with that - what IS wrong is perpetuating the myth that she's a "hands on" mom who's doing all the work herself. She's not. By telling the truth, she can discuss those particular challenges and how having those privileges can still be a juggling act. That's a reality that I think women would value.

I'm sorry, no one can go home at three in the morning and up at five for weeks on end. It is totally impossible and I think she's full of crap. I used to watch her reality show. It was fun but not real. I do not like her style at all BUT that is totally subjective, as is any form of art, and fashion is art.

Pamela Wing I do it all the time. I get like 4-5 hours of sleep every night. Sometimes 3 hours a night. I’m not saying this is healthy but there are people like us. I’m an CFO if 5 companies and have 3 kids. You just make it work.

I do that as well, I sleep 5hours to 6hours every day. Basically the earliest time to go to bed for me is 11pm and waking up at 6am that's a good sleep for me. And then there are 3times in a week maybe when I go to bed at 2am and waking up at 6am like 3hours sleep cuz you don't go to bed and falling asleep straight away, still reading books in my case. I work from 7:30 till 10pm onward and often till 1am working between that 1hour or 2 hours break time so having coffee and doing sports. I live in Asia, not a CEO of a company yet but working as Consultant Lifestyle and Interior designer in a company that manufacture and supply furnitures for hotels and serviced appartment , new restaurant concept, Real estate ventures such as Shopping malls. So even if you finish your job at 9pm still you need to go to events that are related to your job for networking & socializing, you wanna meet all those brilliant people full of imaginations and creativity just to learn more but related to the job as well, in my work line ( designers , young and new artists, architects, real estate and hospitality business, art exhibitions, fashion and media magazine and luxury travel , travelling different countries to attend diverse Fair Exhibitions work related all goes within than rythm. At the same time you need to have a life too meeting your friends whom are living the same hectic life as you are, no one is complaining you are just using all the time given to you 24hours a day! 😊 so seeing your friends and family for drinks, coffee, dinner 1hour to 3hours it's all in that schedule. Honestly , when your work is your passion and your choice it is all fine, you live well and life is good you can manage. Indeed you are not going to do this for 50 years, but definetely you will work till your 70s for people of those kind . yes they will not stop to live and work. And Fashion is not Art , it is creating clothing and accessories inspired from many culture and heritage from their customs and from their creativity and their knowkedge on which The fashion designer was been inspired to and create pieces of clothing and accessories with a touch of innovation and creativity, only to satisfy everyday need , to satisfy a "temporary desire and pleasure" it does not last as for the imagination the sky is the limit, That is Fashion VS Art it is a unique piece , born and created from the beginning by an Artist within his imagination , only one signature piece if you like and it last forever even the ruins of it is still full of life. But careful there commercial and vulgar Paintings and any other Art pieces have nothing to do about Art, Art is the fruit of imagination to create a unique piece that express life and Art timeless. If you'd say Architecture is a form of Art then yes, but Fashion absolutely not. A Fashion designer is not An Artist. I do have friends who sleep 10hours to 12hours a day, and they are teachers that their passion and job, they are in bed by 9pm even 8pm. I have friends who own bakery and other farmers food suppliers who wake up every day at 3:30 am to load and deliver all those food, they do work till 6pm or 7pm and they are home early and sleep early still they have worked like 14hours a day. Everyone is different 😊
