Shanahan is a genius. Crazy thing about the design is it's not just the O line. The way they use a classic lead blocking full back in Juszczyk like it's the 90's or something or how Kittle and Samuel set there blocks on the edge and actually love doing it and don't care if they don't get any receptions. It's genuinely so beautiful to watch. Never seen a run scheme quite like it. I love Mostert but it would genuinely be terrifying to see an elite top 5 back like: Mcaffery, Barkley, Henry or elliot in this offense. It would break the nfl.

don't underestimate Mostert...he actually Led the Entire NFL RBs in Average Yard Per Carry for the Season...only 2 QB (Jackson, Murray) had higher Average Yard Per Attempt than Mostert.

Mostert and breida are extremely underrated it's like every few years a team gets a devastating combo of rbs like Coleman and Freeman for the falcons a cpl years ago the Seahawks with Carson and I forget the other dudes name lol the Packers 2 rbs from this year Philly had 3 good rbs in their sb win the pats had Dion Lewis and James white the Titans mainly use Derrick Henry but they have 2 other good rbs and they made it to the AFC championship game this year with a good defense I should add but idk why all teams don't go out and get 2 great rbs it's borderline unstoppable

Not to trivialize what he was able to do in this game, but it wasn't all that surprising for most 49ers fans.. We've been watching him run the ball like this all season.. The only reason that he's never had a break-out game like this is because Shanahan has three different backs that he splits carries between. Which means that Mostert has never had a game where he was given 20+ carries before this past Sunday. However he does lead the team in rushing yards, as well as ypc (5.7), and did so on just 8 carries per game.. He has elite vision as a ball-carrier, and is a threat to score EVERY single time he touches the ball. So again, it wasn't all that surprising to see him dominate when finally given the opportunity..
