Wait a min....now I understand why Dunki was so bad compared to his rest of movies As he said he treats actors in a light respectable way Ig that's the problem when working with people like Sharukh or Salman now listen why? Let's start with Aamir who is involved in his movies throughout whether it's songs or dialogues he is monitoring that creative department during production actively.....same goes with Ranbir Kapoor understanding the part and role he is in and for Sanjay Dutt (he embodies that character of Munna Bhai himself so well so Hirani tried to make the character of Munna like Sanjay irl a lot as initially it was supposed to be a lot different script too) Now for actors like Salman and SRK if they are not challenged(mentally or physically) or not mentored throughout they have done poorly and their movies have done poorly critically.....now let me tell you why? These two actors and even Akshay are director's actors you can see with example what happened in Harry Met Sejal when an amazing director like Imtiaz directed with SRK or let's take any Salman Khan recent project where there is a sense of lathergy in him that's so present in any of his character..... Amongst the shear work that went in Jawan and Pathaan now let's take Pathaan first it was a new genre for SRK and he handheld the way through by Sidharth Anand and in Jawan not only he had multiple roles but he was with a South director like Atlee who has proven to immensely pressurise his actors with much hardwork and dedication.....now two same genre film of "mass" and tired SRK completely bypassed his own take on his character in Dunki although it was his production and Hirani who was also missing Vidhu Vinod Chopra was kind of scared to push a big actor like him (Remember how Vidhu Vinod Chopra introduced the whole Jaadu ki Jappi concept to Sanjay Dutt)....Hirani went along with the okish script (the worst part about Dunki was the topic it was made on the real thing was shown in a 2 minute song and I can't stress how lazy it is and at the end we don't feel any emotions for anyone other than SRK because even Tapsee didn't have any character development good gosh)
