Priorities: Any sane Soul/CellOfGod/Continuum will have outgrown their loss of any within-a-life thing. Exactly as the minor things that happen to children become insignificant as one's life accumulates more & more experiences, so too this happens with Souls. As they accumulate more & more of *their* experiences, the individual-things become less & less significant. "The Prodigal Son" was a parable ( in the Christian bible ) about an individual Soul who was oriented to "the kingdom without", or *external* basis for happiness, then, when that didn't work, when that Soul outright *gave up on* external basis-for-real-happiness, & turned *within*, ( "the Kingdom of G-D is within" ), then it began climbing the inner-mountain, & then it was doing real progressing towards earning its true-home. Letting-go of the external, is a natural part of growing-up. Letting-go is part of growing-up, too. Let G-D take care of it. Let LivingSpirit take care of it. You probably don't accept the stuff in AwakeSoulism/Buddhism, so I'll stick to Christian stuff, but if G-D is G-D, & if its children ( Souls ) are its children, then there is no relationship closer than between G-D & its children, which are Souls, right? Souls are as immaterial as G-D itself is, right? ( Souls are made in G-D's image: they are equally immaterial, equally beyond-form. 1 of the "Commandments" was originally to NEVER mistake any form, whatsoever, for G-D: G-D is *beyond* form. Pretending that this, or that, form bound G-D was violation of Living LAW. It still is. ) Anyways, just as human-things are just human-things, & Souls outgrow all such human-things, as they grow-up, we, at our scale, too, have to outgrow things, to let-go of them, to let healing happen, XOR we're making our past obstacles/mistakes *more significant in our lives, by choice, than G-D itself is*, see? Letting-go of the lesser, & holding only onto the greater: that is part of what life asks of us. I'm only writing this for you because I'd rather you be free from the obstacle/prison your past-fixation has made for you. I've done much of the same thing, around different circumstances. Priorities: hold to the greater, let-go of the lesser. Let healing happen. LivingSpirit's right, trust it ( yin, not female ). Healing is of LivingSpirit. _ /\ _

@larrybud 2 жыл бұрын
If you're new to RC planes, please don't use guitar strings for push rods. While it may be easier to route through your model, you can see at 10:14 why you shouldn't: The wire is flexing and your control inputs aren't getting all the way to your control surfaces, thus making you lose some control of your model. Otherwise good basic explanation of everything.

Hi, so I’m a beginner (like i just started today lmao) and I was wondering how could you connect the servo into the elevated part of your helicopter? I was confused on how it goes up and down while the servo was going sideways. Same thing for the rudder. Hope you see this lol cuz i rlly need it for a project that im doing. Also!!! love the video, as a beginner you explained it so well. Thx for the vid!!!
@RCwithAdam1
@RCwithAdam1 5 жыл бұрын
Hi! Even though the servo is sort of mounted "sideways" on the wall of the main body (the fuselage) the actual moving part (called the servo "arm") still moves mostly in a forward and backward motion. The control rod (the long connector piece) attached to the servo arm is connected to the elevator "control horn". The control horn (which is attached to the elevator) converts the forward-backward motion from the servo into an up-down motion on the elevator. (this works because the control horn is at about a 90 degree to the elevator, and the control rod is free to rotate within the control horn). Let me know if this makes any sense! 🙂

1:12 it's a great idea if you put those further in the back (only slightly) and add 1 more servo for roll control i never build an rc plane before, but i played ksp enough to tell you roll controp is really important, oftentimes more than yaw control, you can get out of a bad course with roll but not solely with yaw
@jigs1307
@jigs1307 5 ай бұрын
Thanks for this excellent video, Adam! It's really awesome how you didn't have any trouble trying to explain this concept so simply. I just had some trouble trying to understand how you would control your aircraft without using ailerons. That would restrict movement in the roll axis. Now I understand how you can use the rudder to yaw, but then there's a limit to that. Yaw too much, and your plane will stall. The kind of rc plane I'm trying to build has to be highly maneuverable in nature and I want to bring in another servo motor to control both of the ailerons. Can you help me with the connections for a third servo motor? Thanks in advance!
@RCwithAdam1
@RCwithAdam1 5 ай бұрын
Hey thanks for the feedback. Basically, you just need to have one open servo port (using a Y-splitter cable) or two (one for each servo to control individually) to connect the aileron servos.

That sounds normal. Whether the servo centers itself or not is determined by the signal the transmitter is sending to the servo (not the servo itself). So if you want to change that, you will want to adjust the trasnimtter settings for that servo channel.

What's the difference between an ESC with BEC and one without?
@RCwithAdam1
@RCwithAdam1 3 ай бұрын
Hey! If the ESC doesn't have a Battery-Eliminator-Circuit built into it, you'll need a separate battery pack to power the receiver and servos. Nowadays, it is rare to NOT use a ESC with BEC for airplanes. However, standalone ESCs are common for quadcopters because they don't need to power servos or the receiver from the ESC (that's powered from a pad on the flight controller).

With this setup, you could not use the motor, but you need the Battery Eliminator Circuit (BEC) that is part of this ESC to power the receiver and servos. If you connect the battery to a 5v regulator to power the RX, then you can power the servos and don't need and ESC or motor.
