Game Titan woah woah I did not mean that way! I think maturity is the start of a great coder cause you been doing this that way, you know how to optimize and you share that info to the public so I think being old is a great thing!

@@GambinoTheGoat I've had a lot of good teachers, and my deepest hope with these videos is that I might be able to pay a small amount of that forward and help give someone new insights into something with computer science that they're interested in. Are you on Scratch? Sorry if I asked before, it's hard for this old brain to keep all these different usernames straight. :D

I don't actually know what eventually happens if you just keep adding items to a list forever. Do you happen to know?

@@RealGameTitan Lists have a cap afaik, but maybe delete every 10000th message, once I tried to save a project with a huge list, didn't save

@@PantsYT I wonder if having too big of a log might make the project take longer to load too. I've definitely run into cases too where my project was too big and wasn't saving. I did tweak the logger code slightly to put the max size in a global variable so that it's easier to adjust: kzbin.info/www/bejne/pmWxqneEdtWXeas I do think I get what you're saying though, if this were a terminal scrollback, why not make it infinite these days, memory is so cheap. :)
