Rockstar should've made undead nightmare 2 with the plot diverging from the original plot. Picture this, arthur decided not to rescue Micah so he gets hanged and stayed to watch the execution and the gang decided to finally move on. But, when they're starting to move Lenny comes back with some weird news. People who were dead misteriously walk again in strawberry. What's even weirder is there's talk of Micah alive in strawberry, even though Arthur seen hik hanged. So we decided to investigate. We found out that Micah had stole some sort of artefact and used it to make a deal with the devil and unleashed a plague across the land. So now the gang decided to actually help people again and try to cure this plague. Our camp is turned into a protected basecamp and we venture out to help folk and scrounge for Supplies. That way we could see the gang becoming more and more tight and actually see our favorite gang members alive.

No, I'm sorry to say this but there was a point to the ending being the way it is. It left a mark on all of us who played through it proper. To see that no matter how good or bad you are, death is unavoidable. The story is 100/10 even if Arthur died.

What Jack sees later is irrelevant, because Arthur can't see into the future and before that point in the story I think the worst he's seen is John's wounds.
