Brilliant podcasting there! Gripped from start to finish, especially gripped as my children go to the same school.. Very likeable and genuine guy, and I hope he is able to gain access to the US soon. He would be an asset and having proved his rehabilitation, it should be a given.

Its not worth getting such a high debt for making a baby if you, including your baby, are in big trouble afterwards. I wouldnt have wrote this if the interviewer wouldnt have downplayed that. And also his story of "sliding" into becoming a bank robber is not such big of a slide, from my perspective. Also his excuse -checking on the counter ladies- is quite a bad excuse (if not very bad).

I really enjoyed this sit down. I don’t get the feel that he has any remorse for his actions and it seems like he always wiggles his way out of tight situations with even worse decisions. Just bad decisions over all. His punishment doesn’t sound like a punishment either. I do find it funny that he thinks there was an injustice made to him however. No one has to allow you back into this country (USA) after you came over here and robbed so many banks. That is not an “Injustice”. That is Justice.

The ending was BS... he didn't go to the federal penitentiary. He went to a camp. It's a big difference.... Don't fall for his okie doke.... but overall, it's a great story.

@@SmoothCriminal-k9rMalays are of Indian descent mixed with blacks. During apartheid they couldn't fit into Colored or Indian category. They had their own category as Malays and were despised by the colored/Indians. So I think they experienced some form of racism, though not like what blacks experienced.
