harris cheema yes it should, but don't quote me as I usually use my scan tool to reset the maintinace lights. Good luck!

thanks for the video !! I was doing the pads all the way around on my '05 545i today. The rears were easy, but i was a little stumped on the fronts, until i watched your video. Made it much easier !! And you were right, my BMW uses a 7 allen wrench.

How do you reset brake light indicator with out that tool?

I have a 2008 528i and I’ll be replacing all of my pads this weekend, if I find out I’ll let you know

The brake related lights go way when the problem is no longer being reported so no clearing is needed.
