Rich people never tell other people they are rich only those who want face will try to show they are rich. Lot of people are not honest they lie about thier salary, thier job, thier lifestyle it just to look good on the surface. In today society people has long degraded in term of honesty, morality the social media has corrupt people mind. People made themselves more complicated why they so care about face it does not have any value at all, spend hard earn salary just to show people they eat luxury food, branded bag, belt, watch, clothes. Did they not save any money? Debt in loan, housing, car, credit card can they pay back those heavy load? I saw lot of people destroy themselves by spending all thier pension money in one year. For those who borrow to much loan money it just take a lay off from thier workplace it will cost them dearly, house and car get taken away. Lot and lot of this case happened. We no need to care about face we just need to spend what we need face value mean nothing at all. People alway incite other people to do stupid stuff, if you hang out with show of pattern people you will become one of them, if you hang out with pervert you will become them, if you hang out with gamer you become gamer, if you hang out with liar you will become liar. If you hang out with mad people you become so negative. Friend is bullshit. Out of 100 people only one may be true friend the rest is cancer.

singapore is one of the greatest country to live...new HDB is really nice

I came across your KZbin because of your Scotland video. Singaporean here. Thanks for having subtitles as I don't understand Cantonese and Mandarin. It's really entertaining watching your videos. Perhaps I share about housing payment.. If you purchase a house within your means, eg, myself and my wife purchase a resale 5 room flat in our late twenties for $350k, and also were granted a total of $60k in grants for being a first time buyer and for choosing a house close to our parents. Eventually we only need to pay a total of $1k combined a month via CPF. So, no cash payment is required. 5 years later, our house cost $550k. And if we downgrade to 3 or 4 room flat (say after 5 years minimum occupied period), we'll earn a handsome profit. Some of my peers upgrade to condo as they have higher salaries. But for me, I'd rather live life debtless, mortgageless, and perhaps earn income living off dividends only. That does not make me rich, but comfortable. Hope this shed some light. Cheers! And btw, its pretty common to have $100k in your cpf before 30. Many hit $500k in their CPF by 50? But many also keep some of their floating asset in stocks, index fund etc on top of having a sizeable cash in their bank. But let's not forget, there'll always be people who are in the lower income bracket that are struggling to make ends meet. And those who spend beyond their means, incurring debts despite high income. Debt due to car payments especially.

We Singaporean are very blessed with godly & righteous leadership. When top leaders in a country have no more fear of God, switch the right & wrong, it is the beginning of chaos & sharp decline.
It’s true that you won’t get your money back after 99 years but instead will be placed into a new flat. It’s called En Bloc and it usually happens before the lease finishes. So it’s not so dramatic like you won’t have house anymore.
