Yes, I believe cheating is not a good value to have. If you are unhappy, tell your partner and leave. If you believe cheating is appropriate in any commited relationship I hope you are upfront about that with your partners. They should know in case they had other ideas on what commitment means.

Your comments sound like a teenager judging their parents’ choices in life. But life’s not that dark black or fluorescent white! It’s not because people are married that they don’t evolve in polar opposite ways and end up bored in each other’s company or even hating the mere sight of one another. My parents were married for 28 years. They stayed together “for us” kids. It was hell at home for at least 14 years of the 28 years. I’m not saying people should only follow their hearts (or their pants), but that mariages are more complicated than the bloody woke generation demands it should be. People meet people. People fall in love despite their loyalty to their spouse. My super loyal husband had an affair and I asked for a divorce. And guess what: he’s happier now with her - and I’m not told 24/7 by him that I’m doing everything wrong any longer 😅 Let the man live his life the way he sees fit. Stop judging! Of course he wasn’t going to stop and look after the kids when his careers was growing bigger and bigger and he was earning 10 times what his wife was making as a makeup artist. Use your brain a bit. Now he’s had his career, he can afford to slow down and be a father. He probably regretted not having the time being a father the first time around. His first wife is a beautiful woman. She no doubt will meet someone and fall in love all over again too. Divorce is not the end of the world nor does it “Kill” a family.
