Andrew, somewhere in the 1980’s to the 1990’s Bose came out with the “Inter-Audio” series that were sold at Sam’s Club stores here in the U.S. The were the Inter-Audio 2000 & 4000 models. And they were really exceptional bookshelf loudspeakers. They were low priced budget speakers, I believe that they used the same drivers that the Bose models 201 & 301 used. However they were not the “direct-reflecting” type of speakers…. Just some Bose history here, is all…!

Technically it will be to some similar degree, but the IP ratings are fresh water only and salt water comes with a plethora of other issues.
