Dude I randomly clicked on this video and I haven’t seen competitive madden footage since like madden 16, and it’s absolutely insane how much better the gameplay is now. Sure these guys run a few plays over and over but they make hot route adjustments based on the defense, place their passes better, maintain pocket presence etc. It’s come a long way since every pro spamming PA end-around back in madden 16.

I still think they should implement it into the game where players awareness or play recognition gets a boost for every time a player runs the same play over and over.

This is why competitive Madden got ruined around 2017. This is not a simulation football game anymore. I'm not saying this don't take skill with reads but It's all about abusing certain animations and route combos. Whoever does it best wins. You used to manipulate the D manually to create space and options. Using different formations with a mix of run and pass to keep ppl guessing. Now it's just I can pass every play using the same formation and just abuse the mechanics of the game by always having someone open no matter the defense.

I kinda agree it’s not even about reading defenses as much as it is abusing the game mechanics. They play the game so damn much they know every gameplay cue lol.

There was always an aspect of this imo but it’s def worse than ever. To me, the last GOOD madden was 13

@dlo_11 It's sad that the better the hardware got, the worse the games. Madden 07 on PS2 was a MASTERPIECE..same year on 360 was maybe they worst Madden ever made. 🤣🤷‍♂️ I agree that aspects of that have always been present in Madden. The difference is that defensive players used to adapt on the fly individually by themselves. If u abused something too much, the players awareness would punish ur azz. On D in Madden, u need ur cpu AI and players to make the correct choices based on reacting to the physics...not animations. There is only so much you can do with 10 other defensive players automatically moving around. They need to make some freaking plays sometimes. Feels like that rarely ever happens with these animations. I just want them to abandon this frostbite engine already. They won't cause the animations make it easier for all ages to play. That's my opinion

I like the eagles, but the jets has the 2 main formations the eagles has n then sum.. and you can use your fullback more/more running formations under center with the jets

Why didn't he go for a 65/66yd field goal at the end? Also if he kept his TOs instead of wasting them all, he could've ran up the middle more and called a TO getting a more manageable 60ish yarder.

shi I usually put my reviver to the nearest sideline on a smoke screen if the cb is playing back I usually get 8-10 yards depends if I make the person miss the tackle

Now I understand why it shouldnt be a pic, but i say since he was there (which he wasnt suppose to be) the AI should react to the ball being in the area and and least swat the ball.

I’ve been just playing for stats since wins don’t matter on mut champs but before I kick first get my stop run the clock with a few seconds left in the second ip 7 to get the ball back

I’m also shocked how little tj (not sure if Wesley did it but I don’t recall it) I’d the user when running up the middle. Lot of runs that could’ve been bigger if they did so.

He did get screwed, regardless of whether krause was manned up. He’s literally looking at the line of scrimmage there should always be positional logic where he plays the ball. It’s just about not putting routes where the defenders are in a position to be able to play another route.

I use Paint (green background) and OBS (chroma out the green from paint) and overlay in VLC OBS playing video ... then simply draw in paint.. Ctrl-Z to undo
