Cylinder refill karne ke time pe jyada kar ke cylinder ke valve side se cut ho jate hei isliye gas leak hone ke chances badh jatechai. Advice: 1. Naya cylinder connect karne ke pehle check kar lijiye kahi valve side se cut toh nahi hua hai otherwise replace kar dijiye. 2. Regulator fix karne ke baad chk karna hai kahise gas ki leak hine ki badbu toh nahi aa rahi 3. Aur gas leak hone ki awwaz toh nahi aa rahi. 4. Regulator aur suraksha pine bhi timely check kar lena chahiye. 5. Bhare hue Gas ko kabhi bhi vertical position mein rakhe horizontal nahi. Dhyan rakhye Khudki aur apne pariwar ki suraksha karna hamari prathmik jimmedari hai. Jara bhi doubt ho toh help line pe call kare. Jaan hai toh jahaan hai. Didn't answered the question though. Let me answer: the cylinders are 100% safe provided they don't get hot from the outside. Edit: To add more, even if it is without regulator and caught fire at its mouth, that won't make the whole cylinder blast rather it'll start burning like a stove and you can stop it with a wet brown Bori. Some persons from fire department came and taught all of this to us live by doing all these things. To clear your doubts, your best bet is to visit a nearby fire brigade department and ask them. I hope they'll be happy to talk to you.

It happened at our house when I was a kid. The gas from our lpg cylinder was leaking and to turn it off my mother trying for like 4-5 minutes. Atlast when the smell intensified my father and i screamed at my mother to run from there and as soon my mother ran away from the gas cylinder within 1-2 second it exploded with a huge impact. My mother was totally fine and noone was harmed at that time but since then I have always worried about my mother whenever she is near any lpg cylinder in the kitchen. I hate these lpg cylinders, they can turn very harmful in these situations. I really advise to check on these cylinders and look after the person who is cooking for your family
