This was actually how I roughly originally planned on Bryan Vs Crews going. Replace Solo with Gable and Sami with Daniel Bryan. Obviously I took a different direction and flipped Bryan heel in the end but this was how it was originally planned to go 👍🏻

I'm happy for Cody Rhodes winning the Rumble to main event WrestleMania, but I personally would've preferred WWE going with this route. What WWE could've done is have Sami Zayn win the Rumble match instead and have Cody Rhodes win an #1 contender's Elimination Chamber match with the winner facing Roman Reigns for the WWE Championship on Night 1 of WrestleMania 39 at the Elimination Chamber PPV while Sami faces Roman on Night 2. If you're happy with the current route WWE's going, good. I am, too, but let me know what you think of this idea.
