How Satan (IBLIS) Tempted Hazrat Adam to Disobey Allah?
Satan tempted Hazrat Adam to disobey Allah by making him doubt Allah's love for him. IBLIS advised Hazrat Adam to eat from the forbidden tree in order to be like a god and know the difference between good and evil. Satan also made Hazrat Adam believe that he would not die if he ate from it.
The Holy Quran states that Satan told Hazrat Adam that Allah was withholding something good from him, and that he would not die if he disobeyed Him. The devil also tempted Hazrat Adam with an offer of being his lord instead of obeying Allah.
