i been keeping up with scoot since i heard he first signed with the g, easily my favorite player in the draft, his potential is crazy high, he’s a big combo guard who can facilitate, score at will, and plays some of the best defense i’ve seen from a pg prospect in a while, he also played extremely well against wemby when they first faced off even on the possessions where he attacked wemby in the paint

Knowing all this now about his family... This kid probably has good conditioning. A lot of black folk get conditioned by gangsters and thugs and low awareness thinking. That's the problem with coming into the league so young and quick. But he looks like he is the real deal mentality. I'm sure Wemby is too from what I've heard. He isn't American either so that helps. No offense. All you root for is that someone treats their dream with respect and honor because alot of people never it to live theirs. And that's the only way to make it right. @@everythinglakers1713 that’s great happy for him but he’s 19 about to enter a man’s league and it’s way harder than playing 50 games in the g league. it’s more competition going the tradional college route he hasn’t really faced adversity yet. it’s very unlikely he hits the league and is an instant star but over time i think he’ll be really good

He might be wavered by the fan impact aspect, but the competition in the G-League is levels above anything the NCAA offers with countless top players in the nation in the G-League barely making rosters there with pros from overseas and countless former NBA players with players who are NBA level. I'd say that is adversity considering he is thriving in a system where the guys are more physically built then anything the college route has to offer but I agree that it'll take him sometime to adjust to the NBA level
