You already need to be a good ball striker with a good AoA and shaft lean as well as elite club speed

I think the main thing that is never mentioned in these tutorials on how to hit a stinger is that on a regular swing you have the hands stop at spot near where they were at address and that's where you release the club, but on a stinger swing the hands travel a little further forward of that zone (and as a consequence further ahead of the ball) before the release so the dynamic loft is substantially less.
