There have been plans for decades to build power plants in hot regions that boil sea water in a vacuum. The steam powers the turbines in the power plant. The steam condenses into drinking water.

How about distilling the water by boiling then putting in minerals to give it a good taste.

There's a new technology where sea water heated by a solar dome heating the water to steam vapor which collected and distributed throughout connected networks the brine is then broken down and used for various purposes.

I had an idea of using the Earths natural termal vents build and dome above it and then pump in seas water using the termal extreme heat to boil the water then collecting the steam too use as drinking water ... In therory i believe its 96 % environmentally friendly

Eventually this will have a huge impact on the oceans. No matter how hard they try likely millions of sea creatures are being killed. Plus what impact will all that salt and brine have wherever it ends bring put?
