It's not a fallacy The afgan troops and the civilians did not bother about giving a fight I know the US withdrawal was timed bad but 20 years is not a short time. It was just like 'tumhare haat me sone ka katora dedo to bhi tum bhik hi mangoge' sorry for the Hera Pheri reference. But after spending 20 years with ample training and equipment no resistance by the forces shows the incompetency and laidback attitude of the citizens and people welcomed the Taliban when they entered their villages .It's just 2 trillion dollars of foreign taxpayers and the 3000 American martyrs sacrifice to vain. The only ones who got a better life were who left the country years ago and the ones who didn't will suffer.
