The story about Cherokee Corn Medicine is so profound. Everyone should look into ethnobotanical wisdom for their region because the first nations developed their technology over 10,000 years!

Exactly!! I feel so profoundly devastated about the wisdom that has been lost here in Australia when the first nations people were decimated... although there is many amazing people fighting to keep and bring back to life this wisdom 💗

In Slavic traditions, farmers used to put seeds in their mouths first, right before sowing. Now it makes sense why!

Hey Matt, thanks for all the work you put. Seriously, the technical approach your offer us is what was kind of missing (in my view) in a lot of permaculture videos (no offense meant to them though,i also gorged on them). This is a real pleasure and it gets everytime better. Love and Respect from Cambodia.

Isn't it amazing that they knew how to do this? The planting of seeds fertilized with raw fish or aged eggs. They were so much closer to the True Eternal Spirit back then. We only assume where the microbes of Terra Preta originated.

Could it be the spitting in the corn brew provides elevated levels of amylase to the brewing process? The enzyme responsible for breaking down starches into sugars in brewing.

This just blows my mind. How did people pre microscopy and microbiology come up with those ways to germinate plants. I mean it's not like, we accidentally collected all these wild roots and heated them up (but not hot enough to kill the good guys) and then accidentally put the corn seeds in it and then realized they not only germinate better but stay pest resistant.

how about coating the seeds in powderized IMO inoculated biochar? If that biochar could serve as a viable vector for the microbes in question it could stack some serious functions :)

Its crazy to me that scientific knowledge like this, and people like you guys are not well known, while tiktokers showing their body parts are revered and showered with millions of dollars. Sad, sad world we live in.
