Superbad is a very well written movie. I saw it in 2008 and its impact is still palpable for me till today. It felt so real when you were watching it. It's funny and realistic.

I would love to read the first early drafts, but even better would be to Seth get the boys together to do a few scenes of those first drafts.

@MisterWealth
@MisterWealth 5 жыл бұрын
99.9% don't there is ALWAYS 100% of the time a connection you need to have. A friend is related to a producer, you luck out on an audition, you have money already and fund your own projects etc... Its changed alot but not really at the same time
@johndarcy179
@johndarcy179 5 жыл бұрын
I'm pretty sure Seth started on Freaks and Geeks very young, by showing up for an open audition that was looking for completely unknown young actors. And then after he did that show, he was close with Judd Apatow (who produced Freaks and Geeks) who had his own connections, and then Judd Apatow later produced Superbad. So my guess is he was probably able to get Superbad made through that connection with Judd Apatow.
