Get well soon Brian- speedy recovery. You are meant to be here still- that's for sure!. I had pretty bad cholecystitis and cholethiasis last year 11 stones in my gallbladder plus sludge which dissolved down to one stone prior to the gallbladder surgery. I was lucky to survive as it was close to gangrenous. The pain was next level so relatable.

I'm reading The Forgetting Moon now! Your trilogy has been on my tbr list for about 2 yeard (since I began following fantasy booktubers). Of course, there are also several hundred other books/series on the list. I watched your video a couple of months ago where you were reading negative book reviews of your own writing. I've also been following your traumatic health expetience here. Together they convinced me that I could not put it off any longer! I'm not far in at all - only chapter 5, but I'm enjoying it immensely so far! I am totally understanding why so many reviewers lament that it's difficult to believe that this is your debut book! It absolutely does *not* read as a "first (published) book. Anyway, you have to get better! I'm hoping you're using this time to allow your imagination to wander! Take notes!
