@@keithwamz7383 women Have cast off restraint and perishing is a consequence of that. While Shaffie was a contraversual character, He was spot on about women being cautious specifically to the incident he was speaking of. He was not endorsing what happened rather He was advising out women not to make the same error. There has been over secularism in Kenya, women drinking and as a result being vulnerable. While we want a perfect world free of vices; the truth is that there are many waiting to exploit others, otherwise if we can oversimplify this issue we don't need police or the courts because everyone should act in good faith, However, that is not the reality. Everyone ought to self preserve, avoid getting into vulnerable situations. That we know we will all die one day doesn't mean that I go swimming in a crocodile infested river. Wisdom is profitable. We make sure we lock our cars, Houses and have metal grills, gates, perimeter walls, electric fence, watchman/Cctv but do things that compromise our safety... Alcohol, drugs, following strangers. This is all a function of a duplicitous lifestyle as many especially women present a different character at home and a different one out there. This is not a defence to Femicide rather a recall to moral values and Standards, the truth is that this wasn't prevalent going back a few Years, what Changed?

Shaffie's comments are not derogatory in any way, it is his opinion .Everyone can have their opinion. Listen to young women radio presenters and they keep on insulting men who have no money, some to the level of calling them losers. That affects men mentally, especially those going through financial difficulties, yet nobody says a thing. Isn't that victim blaming?

Unfortunately it's a woman's world. Saying that chics should play hard to get and be unavailable was worthy a point but they chose to focus on the negative parts of the statement. Till today, chics have remained too "availble" to the point of meeting strangers in AirBnB and worse things have happened there. Worse than what happened to Eunice. Right now when you say something like our ladies should be careful with whom they meet, you're told to stop "blaming the victim". I understand in some scenarios you can't blame the victim. But if she greatly contributed to the outcome through personal negligence, why should we not advise them to be careful? If everyone doesn't take responsibility in this issue, we still have a long way to go. The blame game will go on and on
