@@syoung20001 I'm ok thanks. What you'll find is that the 2 products you've mentioned are in fact completely identical. and both will clean exactly the same amount. But quoting the 2 different figures makes one sound better than the other and allows the vendor to charge a premium. That's how marketing works.

It's compared to the previous v power fuel. So if it cleans a tiny bit better then it's 100% better which doesn't say much for the old version.

Got to tell ya !!!! after 6 months of using this in my car it runs better as in pick up and my MPG has gone up by 3 MPG ,, car has on;ly done 20.000 miles I only puts SHELL in my car period you pay more but its definitely cheaper to run it

@@markthoughtswithukrainemas2072 premium fuel is known for improving power (higher octane rating) and fuel economy but 3mpg does not begin to cover the additional cost. I'm not against it cause I actually used to put it in my car but that was before the cost of fuel went thru the roof.

Trust me lads, stick this stuff in your motor you're gonna be spinning the tyres in 4th gear and the girls will come a flocking. If that doesn't happen then you'll get an up to 100% refund, which will be be 0%.

I can give a full unbiased review of this fuel. So I have an Astra 1.4 turbo and my PCV valve had been failing for a while leaving lots of carbon buildup and an underboost condition as a result. I had changed the turbo, and everything else in attempt to fix the issue. Eventually I gave up and accepted just driving the car underpowered not knowing what the issue was. I filled up with VPower on a whim and over the next few weeks the power to my engine was restored and now no more underboost, so it definitely cleans the engine. Massively impressed 👍

Gotta say, I'm not impressed with EVO shilling for Shell on this. If anyone would do an impartial test on premium fuels it would have been EVO, but now after this its soiled they're credibility IMHO. Notice how Shell didn't show V-Power vs Standard dyno figures??? Wonder why that was?

I took samples from BP ultimate and shell vpower diesel fuels to lab for testing. guess what? they had less cetane than my bulk farm diesel LOL

Nothing bad with a bit of V-power, its been around and I´m sure the scientists in germany are trying to improve the fuel just like anything. Was curious though, its been said that higher octane fuel decreases the consumtion somewhat. Not really much mentioning about that, feels like the video was cut short. I was genuinely interested in learning more about the fuel.

Whatever fuel ur car uses put that in, putting in higher octane then required is just a waste of money, putting in lower octane will decrease fuel economy & hp

My concern is fuel goes off after a while and fact is V Power sits in fuel station tanks much longer than regular fuel as most people dont feel the need to pay for dearer fuel. So surely there must more variance in fuel quality when using VPower which can actually harm highly tuned engines?

Unfortunately, with high premium gas prices, this scientist can't say that his research is for the greater good, for the masses.... When gas was like 0.96 Cents a liter here in Canada, I would put premium more often but since 5 years I put only regular

Shell V-Power 98 works 100% I've got mercedes c200 2001 coupe supercharger. After using this product, My car runs 100% better performance and engines cleaner. The supercharger kicks in harder and car runs 100% better then it did be4. 23 year old car, This product works 100%. Highly recommend.

Most premium gasoline is pretty much all the same. All of their extra additives and detergents don't make that much of a difference in most vehicles. Certainly not enough to make up for the higher cost.

@@alechall7082 Vpower is 99 octane compared to the regular 95, for a start. More importantly for this video, the lab tech claims restoration of power from the instant cleaning action of the Vpower fuel. The dyno test would prove or disprove that immediately.

@@robertnathan2843 Greetings fellow Nathan 😆. Indeed of itself that's true, but with more knock resistance the ECU may be able to advance the ignition timing further, therefore delivering more power. From what I remember, the more important point was that they claimed a restoration of engine performance, which typically means power output. The dyno test would show evidence of this claimed restoration of performance.

Everyone is upset about this video ,but it’s pretty well accepted in the car community that shell is one of the best gasolines, they also make pennnzoil ultra platinum one of the best off the shelf oils on the market. I like shell I like Costco I can’t really tell a difference between them. I can tell a difference between none name brand gas though right after filling the tank and am sure in the long run a top tier gas would definitely be cleaner burning for a engine.
