him playing with the few strands left... _the show must go on_ 😂 when i first began playing the violin, i remember some strands just breaking out of nowhere and i would freakout lol... but it was prob just because of how old and worn out the bow was for the strands to break randomly

He doesn't throw away the bow, he just has to have it rehaired. Breaking a couple of hairs during a performance isn't that big a deal, but having all the hairs go like that is a good indicator of a bad rehair.

Thanks for the video! I keep watching videos of this cuz it's a fun memory to me. I was in that concert, and I was in shock laughing when I saw the violin bow exploting like that, and I couldn't focus on anything else XD

Using a electric violin wouldn't help with that? like maybe im wrong but you can manage better the volume but maybe the sound changes? idk

It does helps, that's why most of band violinist use the electric one But there's something that classical violin can do but electric violin can't, and vice versa.... I guess yechan just prefers to use classical violin, I only saw him playing electric violin once during superband (when he performed Hold back river) and it's because he needs specific tones that only can be played using electric violin
