How should Series LLCs report under the Corporate Transparency Act?

Protected Series (pre-June 1, 2022)
• Each series was only created by a resolution and probably by filing a DBA with the Secretary of State. As a result, the each series seems to be just a different name for the original entity that was filed with the Secretary of State.
• So I would default to using a single filing for this type of series, adding each series as a DBA for that entity.
• But if the individual series had their own EIN/TIN then I would consider making individual filings for those series.
Registered Series (after June 1, 2022)
• Each series is created by filing a yet-to-be-released form with the Secretary of State.
• Because these are individual filings, I would instead treat these as separate entities that are reported separately.
• I would probably also get a separate own EIN/TIN then I would consider making individual filings for those series
