Btw, the U$ doesn't have a democracy because the presidеnt of the U$ is not elected by the people but аppointed for the job by an unelected group of bureaucrats selected by their respective states called 'electoral college'. The Сhinese people actually have more direct electoral power than the U$ citizens since they at least elect the officials at the grassroots level. The U$ is a plutocracy where the gov works for the corps, while in Сhina the gov works for the people. Just don't tell these facts to the Americans since it will make them very angry. They have that ability to immediately and completely rule out facts which are not to their liking.

Honourable Mr. G. Galloway. As always, superb. Sadly, Democracy does not carries any religious values that will actually regulate its conducts. Therefore, it went awry. Waging wars, preparing for wars, advocate contention, trades wars, inflicting suffering onto the people, disregard peace & stabilities all over the world, abusing policies, developing hostilities between nations, imposing policies onto others, abusing monetary systems, human lifes meant nothing to every struggle , mastermining troubles all over the planets , homelessness, intimidation , forceful coercion, failed pensions funds, i could go on & on. If there are some religious value in Democracy, perhaps, human life & the world today fair much better , not only to the West but the world over. Simply, there are the do's & don't. However, when it comes to religious, in the West, it is always placed the last. While the highly respected Democracy todays without any religious values go on ransacking, the much more sober & decent Socialist system has shown to behave well without any sanguinery but only felicitous. Western Democracy is being overrated & as always 'never judge the books by its cover '. Western Democracy todays, nothing much but scary things. What a brilliant observation by the inimitable Galloway! Shia and Sunni are at odds with what is essentially the lineage of importance they place on their teachers from the time of the death of the Prophet Muhammad. One group believes in bloodlines; the other embraces a more democratic approach. The peace brokerage between Iran and Saudi Arabia SHOULD have resulted in cheers around the world! Muslims will indeed use this peace as a lead to express greater tolerance the same way Christians and Catholics tolerate each other more, due to the lead of admirable people, whose lives led by an example of tolerance and forbearance. What sort of a culture or a nation suppresses or dismisses indignantly such a grand accomplishment? One which seeks conflict for conflict’s sake. That is just plain evil.
