I feel like neon is the definition of a casual stomp agent. In lower ranks, where everyone doesn’t one tap you as soon as you peek a pixel out, her ult in particular can be VERY good (a more consistent Jett ult) for players who are better/more consistent at tracking compared to one taps/flicks. But in high level/pro play she’s not worth

Neon is pretty good in ranked too,he can entry and help stun while the others are trying their best to shoot her,her team would kill them in exchange

​@@Senbonzakuraaaapp Her Stun is my main gripe in and of itself. Going 2 Duelist (Her included) often becomes problematic in lower elo because the first instinct of the neon is throw her stun forgetting the fact that everyone in her team as attacker goes for the entry...

Idk, for me Neon is pretty nice character, her slides help to surprise attack enemies, and yeah 30% out of time it doesn't work well, but it still helps, her mobility makes it easy to rotate and confuse some players in some moments, I can't tell that her ULT is useful, but in some moments it is fun to track people with it. Would've been more useful, if she had chain lightning on her second skill, cause it is worthless for now, like that skill doesn't do much. Or just make her walls to damage more hp, than it does for now, cause I don't buy it just because it doesn't change anything at all. But still, her mobility is the best part of her tbh, I play her just because she runs fast and slides, cause it is the most common thing I needed after Apex.

Agree, neon is mega-overhyped by under immortal. I'm radiant in SEA server and this character is good, but not have the biggest impact in team play. If you play solo it's GREAT, you can run fast, wall, stun, slide shoot, etc. But in teamplay, her biggest weapon become her biggest weakness. So as long as you play casual, just chilling, this agent is super fun to play.

I think Neon should be paired with jett for a very good entry duo. Imagine having smokes to cover your sprinting neon or stuns for a jett dashing for a kill. When Feb comes we will see a new meta for sure, considering Neon and Chamber are now available.

I think she could be a strong pocket pick in higher ranks. There are characters kinda like her in r6 siege, and they maintain pro viability because they throw off 'normal' gameplay so much

Honestly Neon pretty good in breeze. That long wall is very nice Her ult does seem slow to kill being that it's literal lighting. Maybe like if it killed like 100ms faster also her concuss just seems to fly away super far away.

He’s not wrong, neon is a terrible character in high ranks. That running out and sliding shit doesn’t work unless you are someone like shroud. Her stuns are okay but easily avoided and there’s very few places on most maps where you can bounce it so it becomes repetitive, her wall is pretty good for getting into site but it doesn’t last long so it HAS to be paired with a flash agent. Her ugly is pretty good but it has a slow to kill unless you are really close which kind of sucks. All in all I agree with what he said, neon is basically just a ranked stomp character.

I think shroud kinda judges all characters like they were supposed to cater towards pros which they are not. this game is 99.9% casual players and the pro scene is only a fraction of the player base. Not every character riot has and is going to release will have a place in the pro meta or even be intended to be played by pros. With neon especially i feel like its very obvious she caters towards low to mid elo players who just enjoy running and gunning and don’t take the game too seriously whilst sliding around the map.
