So according to this expert there is no terrorism in Nigeria ? You can't deal with boko haram for more than 20 years in your own country but you worry about others. Corruption ? Nigeria is the most corrupt country in Africa and on top of that you have a dangerous tribalisme that you can't deal with with. I think Nigeria should mind its own business.

Nigeria is in fact a huge destabilizing factor in the region. Nigeria is failed state, where law & order has completely broken down, and it is spreading instability in the region. Ecowas is a criminal organization that needs to be disbanded immediately. West African countries must exit that useless group. Many countries in the region will do better outside of that group than within it. Hopeless Nigeria is dragging everybody down as it continues to sink!

AES is not going to accept just any country into membership. That is per aTraore himself, who has expressly stated that a Côte d’Ivoire and Ghana will be excluded do to their different histories and political cultures. The region will remain a multinational zone. If anything the countries can follow orate and do business with the AES bloc if there is mutual agreement for same.

Why is ECOWAS still pushing to make them come back? The continent is not a country. There should be no expectation that countries that have a,ready put their emancipation initiatives into motion would choose to abandon same to unite with countries that have not done so. Why should they in any way sabotage their gains beaded on those who stubbornly choose to remain, chained?? Some countries prefer to stand alone than to lay down together in chains. The AES has their own bloc that is going to serve their people. They need no obstruction from the agents of their enemies… The day dreams of some present real nightmares for others. As such the continent and regional blocs have no unitary prospects whatsoever. Folks will have to be content with collaboration..

How is it good news to have the rest by their throat or in a chokehold? And, if one country is so overwhelming good, why should the block missed the few that leave? The argument doesn't make sense. If what he said was correct, then overall the block should be doing better now that it is smaller, and Nigerian position should be more amplified. But, the fact is, those who decided to go their ways are now showing signs of strong growth. They control their natural resources and they are doing projects that benefit their people. Nigeria's position was inflated all along (it would seem), which is why it can't sustain a block with fewer members.

AES is doing better than Ecowas? ok, based on what? Economic output? The combined gdp of these countries is less than half that of Lagos. What i wish they would do is to deal with terrorism and the flow of arms, this is the main area they are significant. The whole region would be the better for it. Whilst the steps taking since the military took over in those countries have been largely commendable those moves have not really done much for their growth. wish them the very best but lets not get ahead of ourselves
