Fixed grip vs high speed detach. Same uphill capacity. The slower the chairlift the smaller the line is at the bottom and the less busy the actual run is. More people waiting on the chairlift rather than in line or on a run is better for a ski resort. But I will say high speeds r the best on none busy days and mt biking.
