Unfortunately Ontario is tenant friendly and tenants know that. On top of that LTB allows tenants to live rent free for a year or two due to delays and broken system. Good luck to all small landlords.

Brampton small landlords perhaps have it right perhaps breaking municipal bylaws perhaps violating human rights all in while raking in the money.... how? They target their own country people and crammed them into small spaces. Multiple international students sleeping on cots in one room. Census show population growth in Brampton significantly higher than anywhere else. Other ethnic groups does it as well, breaking every municipal codes because no one can enter your house to verify. And why don't the tenants complain. Because where would they go, and paying a little less in rent to put up with inconvenience. Doing everything legal invites the fraudster professional tenant from hell.😮
