This video is extremely important for SEGA to see, They need to do that same effort they did with Sonic Unleashed. THIS IS INCREDIBLE AND THEY NEED TO PUT DAT DAM CENTER QUILL BACK DOWN LIKE THIS

Momentum based gameplay would be really nice, and be the most beneficial aspect to actually make it a good game. But also the least likely to be implemented.

Yeah, For the next Sonic game, I'm happy to hear that the director of Frontiers is going to bring back his longer quills like in Sonic Unleashed, Colors, Generations and CG trailers as well as fix his center quill back down like in the games and trailers I mentioned because I hated how it clips through his top quill. :)

They need to, id be bored if they kept the same, they have to add more animations and combat moves and combos to fit each character

Yeah I think if they do a strong, weak system similar to warriors games and do a stale system with maybe different moves having different effects it could turn from passable to top tier.

If I’m being honest I kinda hope they get rid of it, extensive combat isn’t something I can see this series doing without it being a huge pace breaker

It sucks how this game has massive pop in problems because the Switch was the base console of the game for the platforms.

Of the entire list, what would interest me the most is the last item. That they were complete scenarios point A-B + secrets + bosses (the current ones are good but they still feel like a time attack)

All they need to do is use Sonic GT and Spark 3 as the foundation with a full budget and the game would be amazing, none of the hyper realistic graphics, we need that style back! I wish we had the crazy and colorful stages of the og games mixed with that sonic adventure 1 and 2 flare, just higher rez and current hardware behind it.

But if you wanted a game that plays like GT and Spark 3, why not just play GT (or rolling rascal) and Spark 3? Sonic should stick more in line with the current Frontiers gameplay in my opinion.

Man, I can't decide, if there going to include everything what should they go for, boost aura or running animations plus the tricks. I know they probably aren't going to add both but if you wanted to switch to something different at any time what would you choose.

I'd choose Tails, Knuckles, Amy, Eggman, and Shadow trapped in the areas for example, Knuckles is trapped in Ares island. That's how Sonic Frontiers 2 should be. (And Sage returning too aswell)

I’d like if there was a bit more life in these open zones, like other characters to speak with, towns to explore, side quests that sonic could do that aren’t connected to the story… even like seeing tails workshop would be cool. Obviously the first game was not their ‘normal’ world but yeah that’s what I would love, the sonic world is so big it would be cool to see it explored

I know a lot of people will disagree but it’d be cool if they made an open world green hill zone.

I was thinking about one (or all) of the classic islands entirely open zone, and the zones would be regions inside the island

It would be far superior to what Frontiers did with their generic islands. Even if Green hill has been used a lot, making an open version would re-contextualise it enough to feel fresh.
