@@caleb_sol991 you lack conventional wisdom. How could souja boy be the king of early 2000s when we still have 20 years to go in the century. Its a dumb statement point blank....and you dumber for not seeing it. Whenever people referred to time periods its conventional to describe by decade. The early 1910s is disntinctive from the early 1900s and so and so on.....how could you see my explanation and still reply with that dumb shit. I aint no little kid i been around long enough to know what im saying at least in this department. Just step your knowledge game up

On a serious note, ya'll: You probably won't get rich like he did but you can definitely be as rich as him if you SAVE and INVEST. We need more of our people saving money and not thinking they are rappers and entertainers who can go out and buy Bentleys and spend thousands of dollars on jewelry. Save! Whether you're saving fifty bucks a month or two hundred, just try to save something. Invest, meaning become a part of the businesses around you and be aware of different financial opportunities that aren't shams. Do not throw your money away!

@Nelear Walls Local businesses with lots of regular costumers. Not necessarily mom and pop, but anywhere that has a good record and a good projected future. It doesn't have to be a financial investment either. Volunteer for somewhere and try to gain knowledge and connections, allowing you to have more to bring to the table and learn and grow as an individual.

Imagine how rich he’d be if he invested all the money he spent on cars, on jewelry, and in the club. At least the houses could have been paid returns over the long run if he sold them when he didn’t want them anymore.

Yes but most people don't think like you, Jake. They want instant gratification: a new car, latest iPhone, a closet full of clothes- especially if they grew up with limited income. Google says his net worth today is $30M so he's doing pretty good! If he decided to quit now, he could live comfortably for the rest of his life. If he's led astray, he'll end up like many singers do: broke, owing back taxes to the IRS, dealing with spousal/child support issues and having to put up legal disputes with their record labels.

Jake - you are right! Vanilla Ice was a one hit wonder but turned his investments to gold (rehabbing homes & selling them). One has to have the right mindset & NOT want to blow it on drugs, chicks, liquor & shopping sprees. He probably blew enough per year to feed the homeless in his State or a small village in Africa. One can only drive one car at a time or wear a few pieces of jewelry without getting whip lash. Besides, who wants to be that shiny & become a target of a robbery?? 🤤😦🤕 smdh
