Germany has technological superior.Sovits starts scorched earth tactics. 2nd stage: German army reaches moscow .2 million germon vs 1 million Soviet. Despite being outnumbered ,Soviet defeats german ,because of supply issues . This is only battle where German outnumbered Soviets. Worst winter arrives and stalin calls Siberian troops. German are pushed back. German losses more due to lack of winter clothing , food and medicines. Funfact: This was the worst winter ever hit Russia. Funfact: the 2nd worst winter hit Russia 130 years ago during napoleon campign to Russia. Russian prisoners,left behind, revolt against germans and form small groups and attack supply chain. 3rd stage: After winter German with their technological superiority fights Soviets. Hitler plans major encirclement in south, but Soviet army RETREAT back with great discipline ALL THANKS TO ZUKOV. Then Hitler plans to invade Caucasus and Stalingrad at the same time. THE WAR OF ATTRITION BEGINS. Supply line become thin. This stage is important. Stalin realizes that to defeat german, they need better technology,well equipped army. But it is time consuming. It will require months to produce godd quality weapons and vehicles and aeroplanes. Therefore STALIN orders"Not a step back." German loses their technological advantage in stalingrad due to guerrilla tactics and urban warfare. Also germans cannot encircle stalingrad due to volga river. Stage 4: Stalin order to destroy all resources and infrastructure in Caucasus. Germans gets no oil even after successful campaign in Caucasus. Stalin orders to bring oil from ural mountain. Stalingrad continues to 5 months. As winter approaches, zukov unleashes a encirclement trap in stalingrad. With complete technological superiority Soviets pushes germans back. Stage5 : this stage begins with german counteroffensive leading to battle of kursk. This campaign loses its surprise element as a captured German engineer reveals all plan to soviets. Stage 6: operation bagration. Thanks to Soviet deception tactics, German leadership thinks that they(Soviets) are going to attack Ukraine. Soviets remove their army in Belarus only to bring it back in camouflage of dark in night. Soviet army encircle germans in Belarus. Soviets use , technology, tactics,deceptions. This is 1ST battle where Soviets won NOT BECAUSE OF NUMBERS BUT DUE TO TECHNOLOGY AND TACTICS. Stage 7: total collapse of nazi regime. Hungary romania witness regime change and soviet soviet occupation. Yugoslavia liberates itself.
